This L298N Motor Driver Module is a high-power motor driver module for driving DC and Stepper Motors. This module consists of an L298 motor driver IC and a 78M05 5V regulator. L298N Module can control up to 4 DC motors, or 2 DC motors with directional and speed control. 
The L298N is a dual H-Bridge motor driver which allows speed and direction control of two DC motors at the same time. ... If the motor supply voltage is up to 12V we can enable the 5V regulator and the 5V pin can be used as output, for example for powering our Arduino board.
If you send a HIGH signal to the enable 1 pin, motor A is ready to be controlled and at the maximum speed.
If you send a LOW signal to the enable 1 pin, motor A turns off.
If you send a PWM signal, you can control the speed of the motor. The motor speed is proportional to the duty cycle.

11. Real Time Clock RTC Module, DS3231
DS3231 is a low-cost, extremely accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC), with an integrated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and crystal.
The device incorporates a battery input, disconnect the main power supply, and maintains accurate timekeeping.   
Integrated oscillator improves long-term accuracy of the device and reduces the number of components of the production line.     
The DS3231 is available in commercial and industrial temperature ranges, using a 16-pin 300mil SO package.            
RTC maintains seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. Less than 31 days of the month, the end date will be automatically adjusted, including corrections for leap year.
The clock operates in either the 24 hours or band / AM / PM indication of the 12-hour format. Provides two configurable alarm clock and a calendar can be set to a square wave output.
Address and data are transferred serially through an I2C bidirectional bus.       
A precision temperature-compensated voltage reference and comparator circuit monitors the status of VCC to detect power failures, provide a reset output, and if necessary, automatically switch to the backup power supply.  
In addition, / RST pin is monitored as generating uP reset manually. Save time and high precision addition, DS3231 also has some other features that extend the system host of additional features and a range of options.
The device integrates a very precise digital temperature sensor, through the I2C * interface to access it (as the same time). 
The temperature sensor accuracy is +- 3 degrees C. On-chip power supply control circuit can automatically detect and manage the main and standby power (i.e., low-voltage battery) to switch between the power supply.   
If the main power failure, the device can continue to provide accurate timing and temperature, performance is not affected. When the main power re-power or voltage value returns to within the allowable range, the on-chip reset function can be used to restart the system microprocessor.

The DHT11 is a basic, low-cost digital temperature and humidity sensor. It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air and gives out a digital signal on the data pin (no analog input pins needed). It’s simple to use but requires careful timing to grab data. Sensor readings can be as often as 2 seconds intervals max.

Ultrasonic sensors overcome many of the weaknesses of IR sensors - they provide distance measurement regardless of color and lighting of obstacles.
They also provide lower minimum distances and wider angles of detection to guarantee that obstacles are not missed by a narrow sensor beam.
This model is an upgrade from the lower precision HCSR-O4. This has 5 pins and can be used in 1-pin trigger/echo or 2-pin.
